Bay Resource Group Believes in Giving Back

Flooring is something we do - and something that some cannot afford – here is where we donate our flooring:

Harbinger for Hope Campaign

With the holiday season this year looking quite different, we wanted to take a different approach to how we are celebrating. In lieu of our annual sales meeting and customer gifts we are allocating the funds spent in past years to The Salvation Army. The Salvation Army has multiple programs to benefit many people in communities across Canada. Like our customers, The Salvation Army serves those in centres large and small, rural and urban, rich and poor. We  pledged $5,000 to kick off the campaign and matched our customer’s, sales representatives’, family’s and friends’ contributions up to an additional $15,000 until January 31st 2021.

Women’s Shelters

As well as donating approximately 3500 sf of Harbinger Flooring to the Under One Roof Aboriginal Women's Shelter, Bay Resource Group Inc. has also donated to eight women’s shelters in the Okanagan - Project Family Room in Kelowna.

Habitat for Humanity

Each year at the end of our seasonal special – Habitat for Humanity is who we call to receive all stock that is excess, has changed or that is insufficient for large jobs.  Since 2012 we have enjoyed a relationship with this important non profit.

UBC –  Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity and UBC Sports

We donated sport flooring to UBC for their special events and provided this fraternity that gives back through service – flooring for their study room and hallways.

Semiahmoo Peninsula Marine Rescue Society

We are fortunate to be surrounded by the water and fully appreciate the dedicated efforts of volunteers that keep us safe – financially supporting the Friends of Vigilant Search and Rescue Team since 2014.

Powder Hounds
